Hydrogen peroxide
Hydrogen peroxide stabilization
Hydrogen peroxide additives are necessary as stabilizers ensuring optimal shelf life for the final products. Metal-based additive packages for hydrogen peroxide can include chemicals such as phosphoric acid, sodium pyrophosphate, and stannates.
Stannates are used as part of the stabilizer packages, functioning as complexing agents for residual metals that can catalyze the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide.

About Our Hydrogen Peroxide Additives
TIB is an industry leader in the production of stannate products, specializing in sodium stannate (commonly referred to as sodium stannate trihydrate) and potassium stannate (also known as potassium stannate trihydrate).
With a rich history spanning over three decades, we have established ourselves as a trusted supplier of stannate-based additives to prominent manufacturers in the hydrogen peroxide industry and personal care sector.
Our comprehensive range of stannates encompasses both solid and liquid grades, each tailored to meet specific application requirements. Our solid grade stannate products are meticulously formulated to deliver exceptional performance and reliability. On the other hand, our liquid grade stannate products offer ease of use and versatility in various applications.
If you’re not sure which product would best suit your specific needs and application for H2O2 stabilization, we encourage you to contact us.
Our knowledgeable team is readily available to address any inquiries or concerns you may have. We strive to provide unparalleled customer support, ensuring that you make an informed decision and achieve optimal results with our stannate products.
Potassium Stannate
TIB sells two commercial-grade products of potassium stannate, commonly used as metal complexing agents in the stabilization of hydrogen peroxide, including crystalline-grade TIB STAB E140, and TIB STAB E140P.
TIB STAB E140P is most commonly used in these applications due to its relatively lower metal impurity content compared to TIB STAB E140.
Potassium stannate can be supplied in various user-defined tin and residual metal concentrations and liquid grades.
By offering differentiated stannate products with varying purity levels and customizable specifications, we aim to deliver tailored solutions that cater to the specific demands of our customers across a wide range of industries.
Sodium Stannate
TIB’s two commercial grades of sodium stannate that are commonly used as metal complexing agents in the stabilization of hydrogen peroxide include crystalline-grade TIB STAB E144 and TIB STAB E144P. While these are very similar chemicals, the differences between them warrant a second look.
TIB STAB E144P is most commonly used in these applications, given its relatively lower metal impurity content, mainly tramp metals contained in tin metal, compared to TIB STAB E144.
Sodium stannates can be supplied as low residual metal liquid form and various user-defined tin and residual metal concentrations liquid grades.
