Butyltin catalysts –
Our products

Our butyl tin catalysts are characterized by their high reactivity and selectivity, making them ideal for many applications:

Esterification and transesterification reactions, production of polyurethane systems, can & coil coatings, automotive refinishes, electrophoretic coatings, architectural coatings and other industrial coatings, 1- and 2-comp. adhesives and sealants, elastomers, silicones & silane crosslinking, especially for 1- and 2-component RTV silicones, crosslinking of silane-modified polyolefins (XPE), polycondensation reactions, alkyd resin synthesis, production of plasticizers, production of saturated and unsaturated polyesters, curing of polyurethane systems, catalyst for 1-component MS silyl systems, catalyst for polycondensation reactions of RTV silicones, resins and silanes, catalyst for the production of raw materials for polycarbonates, transesterification of vinyl acetate or acrylic acid copolymers, catalyst in the production of polycarbonates, stabilizer for PVC.

The catalysts enable precise control of reaction conditions and contribute to higher yields and improved product quality. These properties are particularly important for the production of high-quality end products that must meet strict quality standards.

Another advantage of our butyl tin catalysts is their ability to operate under mild conditions, resulting in a reduction in energy consumption and greater process economics. This is particularly relevant for industries seeking to reduce their production costs while improving their environmental performance. The environmental friendliness of our catalysts is supported by the absence of toxic metals, which promotes their use in environmentally conscious processes.

Our butyl tin catalysts are available in various shapes and specifications to meet the specific requirements of our customers. These include dibutyltin dilaurate (DBTL), monobutyltin tris(2-ethylhexanoate), dibutyltin neodecanoate formulation and many more. This diversity allows us to offer tailor-made solutions that can be seamlessly integrated into existing production processes.

TIB Chemicals attaches great importance to continuous research and development to ensure that our products meet the latest technological standards. Our experienced team of chemists and engineers work closely with our customers to develop innovative and efficient solutions that meet individual requirements. Through this close collaboration, we ensure that our customers always achieve the best results and can optimize their production processes.
