TIB KAT 720 is a liquid bismuth-based catalyst that is suitable as a substitute for DBTL (TIB KAT® 218) in specific polyurethane systems.
Application and solvent compatibility:
This catalyst can be dissolved in the usual solvents for polyurethane systems. However, it is recommended to carefully test the stability of the solution.
Typically, TIB KAT 720 is used in concentrations of 0.01 to 0.1 wt.%.
Special feature:
It can be added to the reactant either in pure form or mixed with alcohols.
