TIB KAT 517 – Organotitanate chelate catalyst for silicone and silane systems

TIB KAT 517 is a liquid catalyst based on an organotitanate chelate. It is mainly used for the curing of silicones, silanes, and silane-terminated polymer systems—especially in MS, STP, and STPU systems—as well as for the crosslinking of RTV silicones.

TIB KAT 517 is sensitive to moisture, so contact with air humidity should be avoided as far as possible. High ambient humidity can lead to hydrolysis, which results in a drop in the flash point.
