TIB KAT 317 (dibutyltin bis-2-ethylhexyl maleate) is a dibutyltin carboxylate with a unique ligand and moderate reactivity.

As a Lewis acid-based homogeneous catalyst, TIB KAT 317 is used in a variety of silicone condensation reactions and polyurethane applications. It offers a balanced reactivity profile with moderate front-end and back-end reactivity compared to common dibutyltin catalysts such as TIB KAT 218 and TIB KAT 233.
