TIB KAT 330

TIB KAT 330 (dimethyltin dioctanoate), also known as dimethylbis(oleylol)stannane, is a methyl-based Sn(IV) organotin catalyst with high reactivity.

Thanks to its reduced steric methyl group and high tin content, TIB KAT 330 is particularly suitable as a homogeneous catalyst for polyurethanes and silicones. Its low viscosity enables efficient dosing in specialty chemical applications.

Applications:

• Polyurethane catalysis (primarily NCO/OH reaction)
• Formulations with aromatic isocyanates
• Use in adhesives, elastomers, and rigid foams

Properties:

• Higher reactivity than butyl and octyl organotin
• Ligand based on oleic acid for controlled reactivity
• Dosage: 0.01–1 wt.%
