TIB KAT 816 – Zirconium octoate for PU cross-linking and drying systems
TIB KAT 816, also known as zirconium 2-ethylhexanoate, is a liquid catalyst formulation based on zirconium and 2-ethylhexanoic acid.
Compared to TIB KAT 824, TIB KAT 816 contains a higher excess of free acid. The catalyst can be used both for the crosslinking of polyurethanes and as a drying agent in various coating systems.
