TIB KAT 810 – Cerium octoate for drying and polymerization
TIB KAT 810, also known as cerium tris(2-ethylhexanoate), serves as a primary desiccant and is often used in combination with auxiliary desiccants.
The product promotes polymerization and through-drying and is particularly suitable for coatings that dry at low temperatures and high humidity.
TIB KAT 810 can be easily diluted in common solvents such as xylene or mineral spirits.
The recommended usage amount is 0.1–0.3% by weight of metal, based on the solids content of the total formulation.
